Me and Ikevil

One day, I was just bored and browsing the app store. I remembered my friend saying something about "otome", so I typed it in search. The ads and previews in the store where honestly hilarious. I tried one, wasn't interesting, tried another, went through the content too fast, then IkeVil. At first I thought it was hilarious, but after the prologue I was... interested. Very interested. The art was good, the story was nice, and I decided my first choice would be Harrison. It was released in English earlier that year, and I was actually looking forward to seeing more. Though it wore off a little, it quickly came back like an absolute beast and here we are! I am obsessed with it once again, and it's honestly something I look forward to every day, oddly enough.

As you can see, my favourite villains are Harrison, Victor, and Ring! Though two of those aren't even released in English yet. Wahah! I think one of my favourite events was with Victor, when he calls himself the "Marshmallow Magician" and you do a Marshmallow catching competition with him. It was the cutest thing ever, not going to lie.

I love to talk about the game, especially with my friend Ray, who I dragged into the IkeVil series. Basically we're our own isolated fandom, since I don't have Twitter, and I'm too afraid to talk to people, lol! Even then I'm way too afraid to openly admit I play this game, even though like... my pen name is attached to this website... but you'll never know who I am so, it's kind of a win?

IkeVil has become one of my favourite games, besides HeartGold and SoulSilver (Which were my first ever games). It's honestly kind of suprising, but I deeply appreciate its effort as a mobile game with microtransactions. The art is awesome, the lore is awesome, and ESPECIALLY the OST, I beg of you, listen to it now. It's great for homework, not even going to lie. I use it all the time because it's genuinely so good.

OH, and I've been playing IkeVil before Alfons released! Late 2024. Though I didn't play it daily at first. As shown in the character section, I've only finished one of the character's endings so far, and I'm going to save his other ending for last... because he's the best... live laugh love Harrison. I'm sad he got like... 8th place in the last Crown voting, curse you Jude fans!! /joke
